Sh2-114 – Flying Dragon Nebula
Sh2-114, known as the Flying Dragon Nebula, is a faint H-alpha emission nebula located about 4,400 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus. It shows an extremely complex filamentary structure whose morphology and dynamics have led to debate about whether it is an ancient supernova remnant or interstellar gas shaped by strong stellar winds.
