NGC6888 – Crescent Nebula (Caldwell 27)
NGC6888, known as the Crescent Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It has an approximate visual magnitude of +7.4, an apparent size of 20 × 10 arcminutes and lies about 4,700 light-years away. The exposures were captured on the nights of 10 and 16 June 2022 and 24 August 2023, at temperatures between 22.0 and 24.75 °C, with the object at elevations between 33° and 68° and the Moon aged 10 and 16 days.
