M35 (NGC2168), open star cluster
It contains more than 500 identified stars. Blue and white O- and B-type stars predominate, along with some more evolved orange giants. It is approximately 110 million years old, making it a relatively young cluster. Near M35 lies the open cluster NGC2158, which is much smaller, more compact and older—about 2 billion years old—and visible in the same field of view.
