M33, Triangulum Galaxy
It is the third-largest galaxy in the Local Group, after the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and our own Milky Way. It lies approximately 2.9 million light-years from Earth. This spiral galaxy stands out for its well-defined structure and numerous star-forming regions, which glow with a characteristic pink colour due to ionised hydrogen emission in areas where new stars are being born.
