IC 1848 – Soul Nebula

IC 1848, known as the Soul Nebula, is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is the companion object lying to the southeast of the Heart Nebula and is part of the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way. It is located at an approximate distance of 6,500 light-years.
