IC 1318 – Gamma Cygni Nebula
IC 1318, known as the Gamma Cygni Nebula, is an extended emission nebula and dark dust complex located around the star 37 Cygni, also known as Sadr, at the heart of the constellation Cygnus. It is a hydrogen-rich emission region within a very active area of the Milky Way. In this image, the open cluster NGC 6910 can also be seen near the lower part of the field.
